Forgot to say so earlier, but your reblog about the Reichenbach episode of Sherlock brightened my day xD I was thoroughly pleased to see that someone else had actually read the books!

Oh, I’m so glad! Yes, I discovered “The Dying Detective” in a middle school literature book (because I was the type of child to read the unassigned stories in the book), and I was instantly enamored, insisting that I get to the bookstore to buy the rest of the stories. That was a long, long time, I’ve loved all things Holmes ever since. His recent spike in popularity is great as I’ve been used to my friends just laughing good-naturedly at my books and movie collection. And at people admiring my Sherlock Holmes charm bracelet from afar only to be horrified upon closer look by the syringe. ;)
Anyway, that was an entirely long-winded way of saying I’m delighted to meet another fan of the stories! I felt like a bit of an oddity for so long. ;) Thanks for the lovely message.
